Description

The circular route leads from Lumbrein in a long climb to Alp Sezner and Alp Nova. Then follows a fast descent through the alpine landscape of Obersaxen down to Wali. Shortly after Wali the short ascent to Plampord begins, followed by a short descent to Undermatt. In Undermatt the ascent starts again to Cuolm Sura and further to Bündner Rigi, where you have a wonderful view of the Surselva. Through the forest of Sogn Carli it goes back into the Val Lumnezia. First you climb to Alp Sogn Carli and shortly afterwards the beautiful descent over Triel starts to just above the Davos Munts bathing lake. Here begins the last sweat-inducing ascent, which is then rewarded with a beautiful singletrail descent to Lumbrein.

ATTENTION: The route 217 is the old marathon route. The signs were removed in summer 2022. The route can and may still be ridden. Please simply load the GPX onto your device for this.
