Details
Description
The tour takes us into Val Plattas, where we soon find ourselves far away from the hustle and bustle. Through a sparse forest and in short bends we climb up to the picturesque mountain pastures of Gliarauns. On the other side of the valley, at the foot of the mighty Piz Muraun, which is more protective than threatening, lies our destination Bisquolm. But we're not there yet! After the mountain pastures of Gliarauns we follow the path a little downhill and we cross the Rein da Plattas. The creek bed shows itself in a fairytale dress.
After a short ascent we reach an open pasture and Bisquolm with the pretty chapel Sontga Brida. It is a very idyllic place, we sit on the bench on the sunny side of the chapel and take a lot of time to listen and look. The descent down to the stream is quite steep and can be partly snow-free. For the second time we cross the stream after which we end our varied tour on the old footpath to Soliva.
Variant: Before Bisquolm, a loop can be attached to the Maiensässen of Pardatsch.
