Description

The moderate hike starts in Calfrida. First, cross the ski slope and follow the winter hiking trail. This leads you with a steady ascent through the forest up to Prodalp. Along the way, you cross the ski and sledding slopes. The ascent is worth it: at the top, you will be rewarded with a beautiful view of the surrounding mountain landscape.

Hidden Gem

You can return via the several-kilometer-long sledding slope. Plenty of winter fun is guaranteed for the whole family.

Safety Note

Between Cafrida and Prodalp, you cross the ski and sledding slopes twice.

Directions

Cross the ski slope at Cafrida and follow the winter hiking trail. After a steady ascent, you reach Prodalp. Along the way, you cross the ski and sledding slopes.

Public Transport

By train to Flums or Sargans, then take bus 441 towards Flumserberg to the Tannenheim stop.

Travel Information

Take the Flums/Flumserberg motorway exit and follow the main road towards Flumserberg Tannenheim.

Parking

Public parking is available opposite the Poschti-Lädäli in Tannenheim.


Parking is chargeable from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. From 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM, parking is free.


A night parking ban applies from 2:00 AM to 7:00 AM. There are sufficient night parking spaces in the Tannenboden car park or in Tannenheim.


The night parking can be used for a fee, but camping is prohibited.
