Description

From Celerina along the railway tracks and then following the Cresta Run up to St. Moritz village. Past the Kulm Hotel, where the first electric light in Switzerland was lit in 1879, and past the leaning tower, the path branches off to the right. Through the forest up to Chantarella and further over Salastrains and Alp Nova and past the limestone formations towards Corviglia. Not only the view of St. Moritz and the lakes makes the route attractive, but also the sight of edelweiss at the roadside makes the area special. Below Corviglia there are still a few altitude meters and Lej Alv is reached. From the lake it goes to Corviglia and comfortably down to St. Moritz by train.
