Description

They are a treasure trove for botanists and nature lovers as well as a feast for the eyes for the mountain biker. From Mels we ride to Vermol and then through quiet, beautiful, and varied landscapes, high above the Seeztal and opposite the Palfries plateau. A narrow hiking trail through alpine pastures and over 2 small streams connects the Melser Hinterberg and Flums-Kleinberg. This crossing is a challenge to one's riding or pushing skills. The descent from Sässli via Clevelau down to the Seez rewards us for the many altitude meters we have previously overcome. Along the renatured Seez, we return to Mels.

Hidden Gem

It is worth taking a short detour on foot to the dam of Chapfensee. Enjoy the beautiful, quiet mountain world there.
