Details

Description

From Samedan train station (1705 m) to the ski lift west of the village (few parking spaces). Ascend northwest to P. 1932 in Val Muntatsch. Follow the summer path northeastwards and at the next stream ditch at approx. 2100 m leave the path steeply northwards to the tree line. Keep left across the wide slopes of Alp Muntatsch to the southern foot of the summit structure. This is reached from the west, possibly on foot.

Alternative: If an ascent through the God da Munt seems too arduous, you can also take the alpine path from Muntarütsch (1778 m) via Alpetta to Alp Muntatsch (winter hiking trail).

The descent follows the ascent route.

Hidden Gem

Observe the Muntatsch / Clavadatsch game protection zones with the permitted access routes.
