Description

Six information boards are directly located on the hiking trail. Additionally, you will find two external boards on the topics "Schmelza" and "Glacial pothole and Averserstrasse". The mining board (Schmelza) is located about 1 kilometer downstream from the starting point at the ruins of the Schmelza (Google Maps location). 1 km upstream is the board "Glacial pothole and Averserstrasse," where you can also observe a glacial pothole at the riverbank (Google Maps location). Both boards are located by the road and are easily visible.

The varied circular route was created in 2007 as part of a high school graduation project. The goal was entirely to get to know nature better and learn new things, as well as to sensitize people to environmental awareness and promote hiking tourism in Val Ferrera.
