Description

On the simple, approximately 750-meter-long circular route around the Alten Torkel in Jenins, you learn more about the history and present of viticulture in the Bündner Herrschaft and the Chur Rhine Valley. On a total of 8 information boards, you will find out, among other things, that wine has been cultivated in Graubünden since at least the Middle Ages. Or that over 50 different grape varieties grow on a cultivation area of only 4.2 square kilometers. And that the color of the wine has to do not with the color of the grapes, but with the way it is processed.
