Description

Your tour starts at the top station of the Crap Sogn Gion cable car. There is a bus stop at the bottom station; if you are arriving by car, you can park in the parking garage of the cable cars. You step out of the gondola and trot off into the alpine moonscape. Gently ascending, the alpine path warms up your legs and you can take a break at the station of the cable car Crap Masegn to enjoy the magnificent views. The alpine path leads to the summit of Crap Masegn and on to the Vorab glacier.

High alpine and pathless you climb to the Piz Grisch, the gray peak. Here you have a wonderful overview of the Glarus mountains. After your highly concentrated run, let your gaze wander into the distance and simply enjoy it. Now you run steeply downhill over the barren landscape to the Segneshütte and past the turquoise-colored reservoir to Alp Nagens. There your tour ends and you can fill up your reservoirs with wonderful views and then return by bus to the parking garage of the mountain railroads.
