Description

Your route starts at the mountain station of the Crap Sogn Gion cable car. There is a bus stop at the valley station; if you arrive by car, you can park in the mountain railways parking garage. You get out of the gondola and set off into the alpine lunar landscape. Gently rising, the alpine path warms your legs and you can enjoy the magnificent views during a break at the station of the Crap Masegn aerial cableway. The route continues demanding on an alpine trail to the summit of Crap Masegn and further to the Vorab Glacier.

High alpine and pathless, you ascend the Piz Grisch, the Grey Summit. Here you have a wonderful overview of the Glarus mountain world. After your highly concentrated run, let your gaze wander into the distance and simply enjoy it. Now you run steeply downhill over the barren landscape to the Segnes hut and past the turquoise reservoir lake to Alp Nagens. There your route ends, and you can refill your energy with wonderful views before returning by bus to the mountain railways parking garage.
