The Crown of Surselva is an impressive and partly challenging circular hike from hut to hut in Graubünden. It connects the seven mountain huts in the Surselva – the anterior Rhine valley between Flims and the Rhine source at Oberalppass including the valleys of Vals, Lumnezia, and Medel.

Description
Scenic mountain hike around the south side of the Zervreilahorn over the Furggelti (pass) back to Lake Zervreila. By post bus from Zervreila via Vals to Uors. And from Uors further on foot to Vrin.

Alpine mountain tundra at Furggelti, impressive rock landscapes at Zervreilahorn, panoramic views over the upper Valsertal and to the highest glacier peaks of the Adula Alps, reservoir and dam Zervreila.
Safety Note
Attention: Snowfields are possible in high-altitude areas until the summer months.
The route should not be started in uncertain weather conditions. Weather changes in the mountains are frequent. If a rain front or similar occurs during the hike, you should turn back in time.
Equipment
Good hiking boots with a good grip, weather-appropriate clothing (rain jacket/sun protection), change of clothes, first aid kit, drinks, food, GPS device, possibly hiking poles.
