Description

By postbus or private vehicle to Andiast. At the end of the village, next to the carpentry, there are a few parking spaces available. From Andiast, the route follows the Jakobsweg to Pattadiras and further to Tschess. From Tschess, it returns to Andiast, this time via Cuolms d`Andiast and Chiglina.

Catholic chapel of Sogn Antoni of Padua, Andiast

The Sogn Antoni Catholic chapel is privately owned by the Sgier family and is located in the center of the village on the lower Dorfstrasse next to the former school and parish hall. According to the inscription, the baroque chapel was built in 1668 by Gion Sgier and is now owned by the Sgier family foundation.

Church Surselva

Catholic Parish Church of St. Julitta and Quiricus, Andiast

The Catholic parish church of St. Julitta and Quiricus is surrounded by the village cemetery in the north-eastern part of the village outside the village street. According to a bull, the church was owned by the Pfäfers monastery around 998. Unfortunately, this document is a forgery. The first documentary mention dates back to 1461.
