 Show all 5 images
A shorter but equally demanding trail run to the Rinerhorn, where the view stretches from the village to Sertig.
Details
Description
The first few kilometers are a flat warm-up for what's to come: a steep ascent along the ridge from Äbirügg up to Marchhüreli, past the Rinerhorn. From here, on a sunny day, the view can stretch far, from the village of Davos to the mountains in Ticino. After reaching the highest point, the path runs down the Rieber Augschtbärg before cutting back along the slope to the Jatzmeder mountain station.
Hidden Gem
After the descent, a stop for a refreshing drink or a small snack at the Blockhuus by the Rinerhorn valley station is highly recommended.
Safety Note
All routes of the Davos Klosters Ridges feature exposed sections. A certain level of running security and surefootedness is required. Plan your route and pack your equipment accordingly.
