Details
Description
The start of the route is the upper station of the Schatzalp cable car. The forest road leads zigzag past the Podestatenalp before turning into a singletrail at Schönboda and continuing up to the Lätschelfurgga. From here, the path runs just below on the west side of the Wannagrat and ascends gradually to 2650 meters above sea level to the Chörbschhorn. After the summit, the route descends via the south ridge to the Chörbschhorn hut, where you can take a break in the sun before starting the descent to the Stafelalp and finally to Davos Frauenkirch.
Hidden Gem
Forgot snacks for the way? At the upper station of the Schatzalp cable car, you will find a kiosk, and the Berghaus Stafelalp serves local delicacies.
