Description

The hike starts at Davos Monstein station and leads to Schmelzboden, where the Graubünden Mining Museum is located. From there, it gently descends into the Zügen Gorge and along the Landwasser River. At Bärentritt the path becomes narrow and spectacular – here the trail branches left and continues downstream following the marked hiking path. Upon arriving at Davos Wiesen station, there is the option to stop at the Zügabeizli and then pass the Wiesner Viaduct. This viaduct is used both by the Rhaetian Railway and pedestrians to cross the Landwasser Gorge.
