Description

Start/finish is the Dario Cologna cross-country centre in Davos. Follow the edge of the forest around the lake Davos via Höhwald up to the Wolfgang pass.

From the Wolfgang pass, the trail begins by ascending along the Totalpbach stream, which is crossed over a bridge after about half a kilometre. On the snow-covered and traffic-free forest road, the trail leads through the deep snow-covered forest, with the Davos mountains coming into view again and again. At the end of the Meierhof forest, the trail leads down to the Meierhöfe farms. To get your heart rate up a bit more, take the path up towards Tschuggen, which then leads back down to Davos village.

Behind the Hotel Seehof Davos, we go up one last time to Salzgäbastrasse and on to Hohe Promenade. This wonderful view over the roofs of Davos and the surrounding mountains is worth every effort. The route continues to Guggerbach, from where the path leads down to the promenade in the centre of Davos Platz and back to the Dario Cologna cross-country centre.
