Description

From the Davos Platz station, through the underpass located south of the area and straight across the Landwasser, we reach Bolgen. The road leads between farm and holiday homes and through meadows upwards to the farmhouse at the forest edge. On the older, somewhat steeper alpine road we reach the Ischalp through the Bolgen forest in several hairpin bends. Above the station building, the alpine path first curves to the left; at the first cable car mast, we use the good path left up through light larch forest, crossing a creek and reaching a fork above Usser Isch.

The steeper left path branches off before the ski lift route and leads back to the ridge. From there, we ascend to the signposts and continue to the right over the Clavadeler Berg with a magnificent view of the Ducan group. At the mountain station of the Jatzhorn lift, we turn left onto the wide ski slope, which leads to the mountain station Jakobshorn of the cable car with a modern mountain hotel, panorama restaurant, and sun terraces. From the summit, one enjoys a panoramic view over the whole Davos landscape.

Below the summit, our path traverses the steep slope dropping into Dischma, and on the arched ridge and over further summits, we head towards Brämabüel. Passing the ski lift station, we soon reach the next fork; a pleasant footpath with few extremely steep sections leads right along the slope downwards into Dischma, partly zigzagging to the snow research fields and to the Kleinalp Stillberg. On a rocky edge path, we continue descending to the valley path at Teufi. Down valley, we now follow the rushing Dischmabach until the Dischmastrasse crosses the creek; here, the hiking trail leads left upwards to the forest edge.

The upper path leads right through the magnificent meadow forest. On the forest road, we follow the signposts "Clavadel" until a wide road leads right downwards. At the first houses, on the footpath straight down, then on the road across the Landwasser and under the railway to the Davos Platz station.
