Description
On this original marathon route, you can get fit for the big public race, which takes place every year on the second weekend of March. On an almost completely flat route across the frozen lakes, the 42 kilometers are manageable. The trail starts in Maloja, goes across the frozen Engadin lakes (Lake Sils, Lake Silvaplana, and Lake Champfèrer), all the way into the Stazerwald forest near Pontresina. From here, the trail follows the valley bottom along the airfield, continuing on to Bever and then to S-chanf.
