Description

Cross-country skiing every Wednesday and Friday underneath the starts and with a breath-taking view on the Schiesshorn! The track has a distance of 1,7 km and accommodates a classic as well as a skating style.

Enjoy the impressive mountain panorama on a full moon night.

Sicherheitshinweis

The entire track is floodlit. Dogs and pedestrians are not allowed on the tracks.

Directions

The start of the night track is sign posted. The track leads down a very short section at the beginning and then winds steadily upwards. After a few bends, the next short descent awaits before tackling the final straight.

Public Transport

The Rhaetian Railway runs from Chur to Arosa and back every hour. The local bus waits for you at Arosa station and takes you in the direction of Prätschli to the cross-country skiing stop. In the evening, the regular local bus does not run, but the night express does. This costs CHF 3.00. You can get on and off the bus anywhere along the route between Kulm and Prätschli. (Bus schedule)

Follow the narrow path to the driving range of the Arosa golf course. The start of the night trail is marked with a sign.

Anreise Information

Once you arrive in Chur, follow the sign posts Arosa. At the village entrance, opposite the petrol station, turn right and continue until you reach the cross-country skiing tracks. Follow the narrow path to the driving range of the Arosa golf course. The start of the night trail is marked with a sign.

Parking

There are around 20 parking spots at the Golf Club House (strating point for all tracks). It is recommended to park the car at the car park Ochsenbühl and the local bus to the tracks. All information about parking in Arosa can be found here: www.arosa-parking.com
