Details
Description
The pretty little hamlet of Brün lies somewhat hidden above the Rheinschlucht. If you look around a bit, you will discover one of the widest Walser houses in the middle.
From Brün (Valendas) you hike along the winter hiking and sledding path through varied open terrain for about an hour up to Imschlacht, where you can refresh yourself in the sledding hut. A constant companion is the wonderful view of the mountain world of the Surselva and the Vorderrhein.
You return on the same path to Brün or you can speed down to Brün by sled. Sled rental is possible on site.
The winter hiking and sledding path is open daily from Christmas to early March.
The sledding hut is open every day from 12:00 to 17:00 from December 26 until after New Year's. After that, it is open on Saturdays and Sundays until March 2, 2025. www.schlittelbeiz.ch
