Description

This mountain hike takes us straight up to 2000m into alpine territory and then down to the high valley Plaun. From there a bus takes us comfotably back to Laax.

Equipment

hiking boots, backpack with rain coat, warm fleece, sunscreen, snacks, water. Hiking poles are optional

Directions

In summer you can reach Curnius by chairlift from Falera. From Curnius you walk steadily uphill towards Crap Sogn Gion. The path leads past the Crap and continues uphill until it turns sharply to the right towards Plaun. Carry on past the cable car station and onwards to the road, where the bus stop is. The bus will bring you comfortably back to Laax.

Take the train to Chur, then the PostBus towards Flims Laax and on to Falera, getting off at the Falera Center stop.

Travel Information

Take the A13 highway to Chur and continue to exit 18, “Reichenau.” From there, head toward Laax and continue to Falera. Use the parking lot at the entrance to the village. Falera is car-free.

Use the parking lot at the entrance to the village of Falera or the parking garage at the Laax Murschetg valley station, and take the bus to Falera.
