Description
The former alpine settlement «Valcaus» has been converted into a simple mountain hut with catering. From Thursday to Sunday between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., hikers, bikers and nature lovers can take a break here in a cozy atmosphere. The menu includes regional products: from Seewis alpine cheese to venison salami, homemade Bündner barley soup, and Fideris cake. The panoramic view is unique: from Schesaplana over Piz Linard in the Lower Engadine to Piz Terri in the Bündner Oberland. The flora is equally unique – vast daffodil meadows from May to early June. .

Those who want can complete the return journey with push scooters. This is more fun, faster, and also saves shaky knees. Reserving the push scooters is advantageous.
