Details
Description
Splügen lies in the Rheinwald at an altitude of 1,460 m above sea level, at the foot of the Splügen Pass and San Bernardino Pass. The San Bernardino Pass presents itself as a gently rising, broad Alpine crossing in a high-altitude moorland. The 600 meters of elevation to the Ospizio are relatively comfortably overcome, before the over 40 km long descent through the Graubünden south valley, the Misox, to Bellinzona at an altitude of 238 m above sea level can be enjoyed.
The cycling route can already be started in Thusis and extended as desired.
