Giessenpark trail 411

The starting point for this 3.3 km long trail is the info point of the station Bad Ragaz at the outdoor pool Giessenpark (503 m.a.s.l.M). On the first meters, the trail follows the Finnenbahn to the Tamina, from where you have a beautiful view of Sargans' local mountain Gonzen from a distance. The trail continues along the footpath along the Tamina, first through the middle of a romantic mixed forest and then along an avenue with mighty beech trees to the village entrance of Bad Ragaz (514). Once on the main road, the trail turns left. Continue along the beautifully landscaped tree avenue, past the Catholic Church, the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz and its facilities on the right up to the level of the golf course (505). The last section of the Giessenpark Trail is quite special, as it runs through the middle of the golf course and the beautifully landscaped Giessenpark with its idyllic lake back to the Infopoint.

The outdoor fitness trails run mostly on official hiking trails. For orientation on the way, therefore, the hiking trail signaling also helps.
