Gir da Sot Porta

Panoramic route with a considerable altitude difference, running from Castasegna to the Tombal car park.  From the car park you can reach the Alm of Tombal on foot in about 20 minutes. 

Castasegna - Soglio - Tombal - Promontogno - Bondo - Castasegna

Have a coffee break in Soglio 

From the Castasegna border, ride to Brentan and from there continue towards Soglio. After about 2.3 km, pass through a short tunnel under a waterfall, about one hundred meters later take the cantonal road to Soglio. At the town entrance, turn left and approximately at the parking meter continue on the middle road. After a hairpin bend, you will be at the upper edge of the town. After the fountain, again take the road leading upwards with numerous hairpins and after about 1 km, halfway, the riding path ends. Return to the cantonal road after the tunnel, but this time continue downhill to Spino and then Promontogno. Near Hotel Bregaglia you will see signs indicating the cycle path and ride on the south side of the valley to Castasegna.
