GPS Summer Heidi & Gigi Trail

Details
Description
Start in Lenzerheide: Take the ascent to the Scharmoin middle station on foot or by mountain cable car. Then change to the Rothorn 2 aerial cableway and ascend to the Rothorn summit. Once at the highest point, enjoy the magnificent mountain panorama before heading down towards Gredigs Fürggli and further to Urdenfürggli.
From Urdenfürggli to Hörnli, take the Urdenbahn or cross the Urdental on foot. Refresh yourself before the descent to Arosa at the Hörnlihütte or enjoy a hiking stop along the path at the Carmennahütte or the Brüggerstube.
Start in Arosa: The starting point of the hike is the parking lot at Prätschli. The ascent to Hörnli is always gently uphill. Hikers who prefer to cover this section by gondola take the Hörnli Express from Inner-Arosa. On foot or by connecting cable car, you reach the Lenzerheide holiday region. Head to the highest point of the route, the Parpaner Rothorn at 2865 m above sea level. Enjoy the magnificent view over numerous peaks before descending with the Rothorn 2 aerial cableway. From the Scharmoin middle station, take the last section on foot or by the Rothorn 1 gondola and reach Lenzerheide.
