Description
From the village center in Guarda, the path leads along the Clozza stream to Alp Suot above the treeline and further into the valley to the foot of the mighty Piz Buin and to Chamonna Tuoi SAC (overnight accommodation possible). From Chamonna Tuoi, the alpine hiking trail leads eastwards in the wide valley basin on the southern edge of the Silvretta group to the highest point of the route, Pass da Furcletta (2732 m above sea level). From this crossing, the view opens to Val d’Urezzas on the other side of the saddle. The descent is initially very steep until Marangun d’Urezzas, but becomes gradually flatter as you advance into Val Tasna and the narrow valley near Alp Valmala.
Safety Note
The route was rated under favorable weather conditions; the current weather conditions and forecasts must be strictly observed before starting the route. This hike requires basic alpine experience, orientation skills, mountain boots are recommended.

Travel Information
- From the north: via Landquart – Klosters by car shuttle through the Vereina tunnel (Selfranga - Sagliains) or via the Flüela pass to Lower Engadine on H27
- From the east: via Landeck / Austria towards St. Moritz on H27
- From the south: via Reschen pass (Nauders-Martina) or Ofen pass (Val Müstair-Zernez) on H27
Guarda can be reached from the Engadin road H27 at Giarsun in 5 minutes by car
