The long nature experience route - GWunderwald - in the region around Heidboden in Davos is a place for mind, hand, and heart.
Details
Description
There are several routes starting from a bus stop of the Davos public transport, leading towards Heidboden as the center of the GWunderwald. Along these routes, various experience stations are set up contextually. Visitors can choose their own paths and return to the next bus stop or a restaurant from any other route. The route can be experienced in eight different and combinable partial routes. On hiking trails and forest roads, you have the opportunity to learn contextually about various nature topics. At 31 activity stations, nature, recreation, landscape, agriculture, forestry, hunting, flora and fauna, and much more are presented in a playful way. The activity stations are equally suitable for adults and children as they explain nature in a playful manner.
Hidden Gem
The nature experience route can also be explored as part of excursions. Forest ranger André Kindschi leads tours as a ranger both within the framework of the Davos Klosters guest program and individually, for example for school classes, through the "GWunderwald".
