Directions

Public Transport

For ecological reasons, using public transport is highly recommended. This also makes the round trip and the rides in the running region an unforgettable experience.

Travel Information

From Zurich, you can conveniently reach Bivio by car. Take the A3 motorway towards Chur and switch to the A13 at Sargans. Follow this to the Thusis-South exit, where you change to the main road towards Julier Pass (Route 3). The route takes you through the picturesque Albula Valley, past places like Tiefencastel and Savognin. After a winding but well-maintained ascent over the Julier Pass, you reach the idyllic mountain village Bivio. The drive takes about two and a half hours and offers impressive views of the Alps. In winter, snow chains should be readily available.

Parking

Parking spaces are available at the mountain railways (about 100 m from the start), at Davos Fallung, and at Villa Aurora – they are chargeable.
