Description

What has long been a tradition in summer is also possible in winter. The Heidi & Gigi trail connects Arosa with Lenzerheide and vice versa. Starting in Lenzerheide, head to the valley station of Rothorn and from there take the Rothorn 1 gondola to Scharmoin. From there, follow the winter hiking trail to the valley station of the Motta chairlift. Then comfortably take the chairlifts up to the Motta mountain station, where you can change to the Urdenfürggli chairlift. At the top, take the Urden gondola to Arosa.

It is possible to hike directly from Lenzerheide to the Scharmoin mid-station, skipping the Rothorn 1. It is also possible to arrive via Parpan and then take the Heimberg chairlift.
