Description

From Maschgenkamm we follow the path towards Alp Grueb to the Tritt fireplace. On the step we enjoy a wonderful view of the Churfirsten and the Seebensee. Along the Seebensee it goes via Winkelzahn to the Chrüz.

Geheimtipp

Book the high-altitude route as a culinary tour and let yourself be spoiled with culinary delights from the appetizer to the dessert.

Ausrüstung

Daytime hiking backpack (approx. 20 litres) with rain cover, sturdy and comfortable footwear, weather-adapted and durable clothing in the multi-layer principle, if necessary telescopic poles, sun and rain protection, provisions and drinking water, first aid kit, pocket knife, mobile phone, possibly headlamp, map material

Directions

From the Flumserberg Tannenboden car park (for a fee), the BergJet gondola lift will take you relaxed to the Maschgenkamm. This is where the high-altitude hike starts. The first part of the hike goes once half around the Ziger. On this path there is also a part of the GeoGalerie. Like in an art gallery, fossils and weathering phenomena can be admired, touched and experienced. After about one kilometer you will reach Zigerfurgglen. Here you take the path towards Chrüzen, which passes under the mountain peaks of the Sächsmoor. Once there, you now walk slightly downhill along the path via Alp Grueb to Seebenalp, where there are three lakes (Grosssee, Heusee and Schwarzsee). Seen from the hotel, the path continues to the right via Winkelzahn, through the forest path to the Chrüz mountain station. Once in Chrüz, you can master the last meters of altitude with the FLOOMZER toboggan run.
