Directions
From the Flumserberg Tannenboden parking lot (subject to a charge), the BergJet gondola lift takes you up to the Maschgenkamm. This is where the high-altitude hike starts. The first part of the hike goes halfway around the Ziger. Part of the GeoGallery is also located on this trail. Like in an art gallery, you can marvel at, touch and experience fossils and weathering phenomena. After about one kilometer you reach Zigerfurgglen. Here you take the path towards Chrüzen, which passes under the mountain peaks of the Sächsmoor. Once there, walk slightly downhill along the path via Alp Grueb to Seebenalp, where there are three lakes (Grosssee, Heusee and Schwarzsee). From the hotel, the path continues to the right via Winkelzahn, through the forest path to the Chrüz mountain station. Once at Chrüz, you can tackle the last few meters in altitude on the FLOOMZER toboggan run.
