Hidden Gem
Book the Höhen-Route as a culinary route and let yourself be pampered from appetizer to dessert.
Equipment
Day hiking backpack (approx. 20 liters) with rain cover, sturdy and comfortable footwear, weather-appropriate and durable clothing in layers, if necessary telescopic poles, sun and rain protection, provisions and drinking water, first aid kit, pocket knife, mobile phone, if necessary headlamp, map material
Directions
From the Flumserberg Tannenboden parking lot (chargeable), the BergJet gondola comfortably takes you up to Maschgenkamm. Here the high-altitude hike starts. The first part of the hike goes halfway around the Ziger. On this path there is also a part of the GeoGallery. Like in an art gallery, fossils and weathering phenomena can be admired, touched, and experienced. After about one kilometer you reach Zigerfurgglen. Here you take the path towards Chrüzen, which goes under the mountain peaks of the Sächsmoor. Once there, you now hike lightly downhill along the path via Alp Grueb to the Seebenalp, where there are three lakes (Grosssee, Heusee, and Schwarzsee). From the hotel view, the path continues to the right over Winkelzahn, through the forest path to the Chrüz mountain station. Upon arrival at Chrüz, you can cover the last altitude meters with the FLOOMZER toboggan run.
