Details

Description

The trail is located on a circular route in the Parsenn Davos Klosters area. You can reach Weissfluhjoch from Davos with the Parsennbahn. From Klosters, take the Gotschnabahn to the Gotschnagrat. The route can also be started alternatively from there.

Hidden Gem

Trail with exit option at the Gotschnabahn Klosters. 360° view.

Directions

From Weissfluhjoch, the trail descends to the Kreuzweg, to the Parsennfurka junction. Serpentine rock characterizes the ground up to this point and thus demands the attention of every runner. Then follows the ascent to the mountain station of the Seetäli lift. The subsequent singletrail, running parallel to the ridge, is unique and rewards every runner with the magnificent view over the entire Prättigau with Schweizertor, Rätikon, Madrisa, and the Silvretta group. A high plateau with lush alpine flowers shapes the next section of the trail to Grünhöreli.

Here begins a technically demanding trail passing the impressive "stone man" on to the Gotschna mountain station. Here runners have the option to either leave the trail and take the Gotschnabahn to Klosters and then the train back to Davos Dorf or to continue running on the easily manageable trail to the Parsenn hut.

The following panorama trail back to the middle station of the Parsennbahn, the Höhenweg, forms a liberating conclusion to this varied high-altitude trail, which is suitable for both experienced and less experienced trail runners.
