Description

In everyday life, we are rarely aware of our senses. We see, hear, smell, feel, and taste mostly automatically. On the hiking trail of the senses, we are encouraged to consciously perceive our senses. On various information boards, we find not only suggestions for our senses but also a lot of interesting facts about the Val Medel.

The hiking trail of the senses starts above Curaglia and leads us through a beautiful, almost untouched landscape. We stroll through forests and meadows, pass by small and large streams, and can enjoy a breathtaking view above Biscuolm. From there, the path runs flat to Pardatsch and further to Gliarauns, from where we hike back down to Curaglia.

The sole walking time is 2-3 hours. However, we take our time and plan a whole day for the hike because we want to experience everything intensively.

Hidden Gem

Take a small towel and perhaps a blanket for a nap in nature.

Safety Note

The ascent from the Bisquolm chapel to the highest point of the round is somewhat steep.

Children must be supervised near the streams.

Equipment

The brochure is available at the tourist offices

Directions

This themed route is specially signposted and starts above the village. It first leads into a small little valley with a stream and then ascends relatively steeply to Biscuolm with the pretty chapel Sontga Brida. Just a few meters after the chapel is the fireplace. Then there is another short steep climb to the wooden bench, the highest point of the hike. After Pardatsch, we cross the road and walk on a hiking trail to the Maiensässen Gliarauns and further on to Curaglia.
