Hohe Promenade Davos

The starting point of this short route is the traditional Hotel Seehof Davos, which has welcomed guests from all over the world since 1869. The path leads behind the hotel up to Salzgäbastrasse and further to the Hohe Promenade. This beautiful walk offers an impressive view over the roofs of Davos and the surrounding mountains. Along the Hohe Promenade, you reach the bridge of the Schatzalpbahn, a wooden structure that offers a nice view of the Eisstadion Davos, possibly the most beautiful ice rink in the world, which has been shining in new splendour since the 2020 renovation. The route continues to Schatzalpstrasse, from where the path leads down to the promenade in the centre of Davos Platz.

Bring fresh fruit - with a bit of luck, you can feed the tame squirrels.
