By aerial gondola up to Foppa, then gently downhill again – the panoramic trail leads beneath the Flimserstein to Fidaz. On the way: lovely Alpine huts, mountain pastures and fantastic views of the valley and the mountains.

Description

Forests, rocks, and wide views: This is what awaits you when you hike down the valley from Foppa along the panoramic path. To get to the starting point, you can comfortably take the cable car from Flims to Foppa. Then you walk downhill with great views over the valley and over the Graubünden mountain world.

Hidden Gem

Although shortly after the start, it is still worth considering filling up here: About 1 km below this path lies the mountain hut Spalegna - a true gem on the sunny slope with breathtaking views.

Directions

At the beginning, you hike between old Maiensäss huts heading towards Spalegna. Through an enchanting mountain forest, overlooked by the imposing rock walls of the Flimserstein, you then reach Fidaz via Scheia. Clearings repeatedly offer you beautiful views over the valley.

Along the road from Fidaz you get back to Flims . Alternatively, you can take the local bus for this section.
