Description

Schwellisee is reachable from Innerarosa by a pleasant walk. The area around Schwellisee was formerly surrounded by an Arolla pine forest. Above the lake stands a legendary Arolla pine that still reminds of it.

Thanks to two powerful electric motors and the robust construction of the wheelchair, hilly hiking trails, steep inclines, and long natural surface sections can be easily navigated.

Public Transport

The Rhaetian Railway runs hourly from Chur to Arosa. Traveling with the Rhaetian Railway should be made as easy as possible for guests with disabilities. Boarding and disembarking assistance can be reserved up to 24 hours before the start of the journey. Further information at www.rhb.ch.

Once in Arosa, you remain mobile. The Arosa Bus gladly transports its passengers from A to B and takes care of their needs. And even if you want to take a taxi, there are options: the Alpin Taxi (+41 81 377 35 35) has larger vehicles where the wheelchair can be loaded into the trunk.

From Chur, follow the signs via Schanfiggerstrasse to Arosa.

Parking

At the village entrance, there is a parking information board. The Ochsenbühl parking garage and the public parking lot at Obersee are recommended.
