Description
The Kaltbrunntobel Trail takes you through the ravine of the same name and is one of the more technically demanding routes in the Fürstenwald. Roots, loose and slippery stones as well as steep passages demand your riding technique and concentration. Tight switchbacks bring additional riding fun - and if you cramp up in the rough sections, you can take a deep breath in the flowing intermediate sections before the next challenge awaits.
The trail can be reached via Mittenbergstrasse and then via the Kaltbrunnenweg, which was partly built into the rock and is challenging again with its steepness. The climb is worth it for those who love technical trails.
In the lower part, the trail crosses Mittenbergstrasse several times, where many other athletes, walkers and families are on the road - please drive particularly slowly and with foresight here. You will also meet hikers again and again on the rest of the trail. Please be considerate and stay consistently on the marked paths.
The trail ends at the Bärenhütte with a beautiful view of the city. From there you can directly enter the blue Bärenhütten Trail and continue into the trail network of the Fürstenwald
