Description

After a cozy, mostly flat part through the treeless Greina plateau follows the ascent to Fuorcla Sura da Lavaz (2703m). Descent over the small glacier da Lavaz and final ascent to the hut.

Medelserhütte «Die mit Weitblick»

The Medelserhütte SAC sits like an eagle's nest on a saddle at 2524m, in a grandiose, primeval mountain world with fantastic views. It has 55 beds and is owned by the Uto/Zurich section. Since the addition of 2006, the cottage also has small rooms and a shower for guests. However, the original charm of the old hut has been preserved. Thanks to its location and the view of infinity to the west and east, we count over 16 hours of sunshine up here in summer. Through the huge panoramic window, sunsets can be experienced directly and up close during dinner. We cook as regionally as possible and bake with Graubünden organic mountain cereals, our cake buffet is legendary. We spoil you with loving, hut-made organic delicacies. And the eagle – it actually visits us every now and then!
