The Belvair route leads from the Tourist Information in La Punt Chamues-ch along the Via Engiadina through Bever to Samedan and back to La Punt Chamues-ch on the other side of the valley along the Via Valtellina.
As a section of the Engadin Ultra Trail, this route is excellent for preparing for one of the runs held in mid-July.

Description
The start is at the 3*-Hub at the Tourist Information in the district of Chamues-ch. First, you cross the village from east to west, passing the stately houses of La Punt. Then comes the first ascent towards the Albulapass. It is advantageous to keep an eye on the RhB timetable here so you are not delayed at the barrier at the La Punt station.
Along the Via Engiadina, with a constant view of the wide valley floor and the recently extensively renatured Inn – the next downstream section is planned to follow in the coming years – you go gently downhill towards the fairytale village of Bever. Exiting Bever, the path climbs to the shooting range Muntarütsch. From there it continues to Samedan station and the dam.
After crossing the valley plain, the route initially follows the riparian landscape to the right of the Inn before gaining height again at the hamlet of Champesch. On the traditional long-distance trail Via Valtellina, you approach the starting point on the Engadin Ultra Trail section (EUT 102). A short climb past the forest gallery still needs to be mastered before the running fun comes to an end. At least temporarily: for those who want to prepare even better for the Engadin Ultra Trail, we recommend the two further sections Arpiglia and Clavadatsch.
