Description
A fairytale atmosphere is offered when you set off on the cross-country ski trail in Fontanivas. Along the Rhine river downhill to just before the shooting range and then a short distance through the forest, back towards the campsite. Back at the start, you start the round again and can run a small lap around the lake shortly after the starting point.
A short lap, which is classic as well as groomed for skating.
If this small lap is not enough for you, you can extend it and simply continue towards Trun at the shooting range.
Hidden Gem
It can be very cool in Fontanivas as it is rather shady and the trail runs along the Rhine.
Equipment
If you don't have your own cross-country skiing equipment, you can rent one at Disentis at Menzli Sport or at the Catrina Sportshop.
