Description
At the time when the young Inn could still meander freely through the wide plain, the valley floor between Bever and La Punt Chamues-ch was one large swamp overgrown with shrubs and alders. The main road did not run in a straight line through the plain as today but had to be led along the foot of the slope of Crasta Mora. Crasta Mora consists of the crystalline Err cover and is crisscrossed by faults and fractures. In the south-southeastern Crasta Mora there are no streams. Only at the foot of the slope are there larger water outlets, which feed three water reservoirs and one is tapped. Halfway, approximately where the old cantonal road crosses the railway line, stood the inn "Las Agnas da Bever" several hundred years ago.
The start and finish of the hike are each at Bever train station.
