Lej Muragl

The spectacular ride with the funicular up to Muottas Muragl already gives an impression of the panorama to expect. On the viewing platform of the Romantik Hotel Muottas Muragl (2,454m) this expectation is even exceeded. A unique view of the Engadin (lake) landscape and the mountain world opens up to you.
The marked hike begins to the left above the panorama route with a gentle incline. Along the path past flora and fauna and the charms of the high alpine landscape offers an excellent view of the block glacier, which slowly moves down into the valley like a lava flow. After about an hour you reach Lej Muragl (2,715m), which presents itself in beautiful colors. If you look closely, you can even see fish in the water. The return route goes downhill along a river over cow pastures and authentic alpine landscapes. After another hour you reach the mountain station of the funicular again, where you can comfortably ride down to the valley after a refreshment.

Hikers who want to do more can hike on the panorama route to the Alp Languard mountain station (1.5 h).
