Description

The trail is a project of the "IG Loipe Vorderprättigau" and is realized with the support of the municipalities Schiers and Grüsch.

With good snow conditions, one skating and one classic trail each is prepared. With limited snow conditions, only a short loop from Schiers for skating is in operation.

The IG Loipe Vorderprättigau appreciates financial contributions. There is a donation box at the start in Schiers and Grüsch. Or transfer to:

Walkers with and without dogs, snowshoers and riders use the winter hiking trail along the Landquart. Dogs are not allowed on the trail.

Hidden Gem

Cross-country skiing equipment can be rented at the sports shop of the Bergbahnen Grüsch-Danusa.

Use of the trail is at your own risk and responsibility. The "IG Loipe Vorderprättigau" excludes all liability and does not carry out trail inspections. The "IG Loipe Vorderprättigau" recommends, especially in the evenings and in bad weather, not going out on the trail alone.

Increased caution is required while grooming the trails with the grooming vehicle.

By the Rhaetian Railway (RhB) to Grüsch or Schiers (910 timetable field).

Travel Information

Via A13, take exit no. 14 (Landquart, Davos, Vereina) in Landquart. Follow the signs towards Davos on national road A28 to Grüsch or Schiers.

Parking

Schiers: Only a few parking spaces are available at the starting point. It is best to use the parking lots below Alpina.

Grüsch: Sufficient parking is available at the starting point at Rest. Sporti.
