Description
Current information on the trail conditions and open kilometers in the daily updated trail report.
The area is snow-safe and sheltered from the wind. The trail is generally considered easy to moderate and technically varied, as on the mostly flat trail you will also encounter some climbs or descents. You can either challenge yourself on the classic track or on the skating trail.
Depending on the amount of snow, the race trail is also prepared, which extends the Madils loop for advanced skiers by about 1 km as a skating track.
The trail starts right behind the Sennenstube restaurant, where a changing room and a free waxing room are available if needed (currently closed due to Covid-19). Then it begins with a slight descent towards the idyllic Madils plateau. On a complete round, you will find your way back to the starting point.

At Flumserberg, the parking spaces are supervised. Inform the staff that you want to cross-country ski. If there are still parking spaces available, you can drive further up. Otherwise, you can also take the free sports bus to Tannenboden Dorf and then walk up to Sennenstube (about 10 min).
Parking spaces are fee-based from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. From 5:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. you may park your car free of charge.
