Easy – That’s how this snow shoe hike really is. The round tour leads in very simple terrain over the clearances of the Maraneralp. It suits anybody who likes to take it a bit more laid-back and still don’t want to relinquish on a great alpine panorama.

Description
The name says it all: This snowshoe tour on the panoramic high plateau between Weisshorn, Prätsch and Litzirüti is not demanding – and thus the ideal introduction to the snowshoeing experience. The path leads in a wide loop through gently rolling terrain once around the cross-country trails at Maran. In summer, one of the highest 18-hole golf courses in Europe is located here. Despite the leisureliness, you don't have to forgo the alpine mountain panorama: while trekking over treeless sections and through sparse fir forest, the view opens up again and again to the Arosa mountain world. Tjejer Fluh, Hauptij, Brüggerhorn, Weisshorn, Hörnli, Erzhorn, Schafrügg or also the highest elevation of the Plessur Alps, the Arosa Rothorn, can be seen from here. The area, which is quietly stridden through, can be described as one of the most beautiful viewing platforms in Arosa. The trail is conveniently reached with the free local bus.
Hidden Gem
During the popular moonlight hikes, you can admire the starry sky without disturbing city lights for once.
