Details

Description

You start below the Mittenwald indoor swimming pool and walk along the flat road in the direction of the Cafrida holiday home settlement. The hike then continues to the junction towards Prodalp. This is followed by a constant ascent through the wonderful winter landscape to Prodalp.

Hidden Gem

At the end point there is a tobogganing fun back to the starting point.

Safety Note

Between Cafrida and Prodalp you cross the ski and toboggan run twice.

Normal winter hiking equipment, sturdy shoes.

Directions

Public Transport

By train to Flums or Sargans, then by bus 441 direction Flumserberg to the stop Flumserberg, Mittenwald.

Travel Information

Motorway exit Flums/Flumserberg, follow the main road towards Flumserberg Tannenheim.

Parking

Public parking is available opposite the Poschti-Lädäli in tannenheim.

Parking is available from 07.00 to 17.00. From 17.00 to 02.00 we are allowed to leave the car for free.

After 02.00 to 07.00 a.m. there is a night parking ban. There are plenty of night parking spaces in the Tannenboden multi-storey car park or in the Tannenheim.

The night car park can be used for a fee, but camping is prohibited.
