Description

From the monastery, the path leads past the hotel Chavalatsch towards the schoolhouse. Before the schoolhouse, a road leads left to the Rombach. Following this, the path continues until shortly before the national border. Before the border is reached, turn left back to the main road. From the main road (BP gas station Parc Rom), the path leads a short way uphill on the opposite side, from where a little later there is a gentle descent directly back to the Monastery of St. Johann.

The path is prepared after every snowfall. Please observe the condition reports in the winter sports report. The route was rated under favorable weather conditions; current snow and weather conditions must be checked before starting.

Travel Information

From the north: via Landquart – Klosters by car shuttle through the Vereina tunnel (Selfranga - Sagliains) or over the Flüela Pass and the Ofen Pass into Val Müstair to Müstair.

From the east: via Landeck / Austria towards St. Moritz on H27 to Zernez and then over the Ofen Pass into Val Müstair to Müstair.

From the south: via Reschen Pass (Nauders-Martina) into Val Müstair to Müstair.
