Description

The starting points are the train station and the Hotel Morteratsch. On a well-developed natural path, you walk in about 50 minutes to the foot of the Morteratsch Glacier. Always in view: the impressive Bernina Group.

Along the glacier trail, 16 stops inform hikers about the glacier's retreat and the mysterious life in the forefield.
For children between five and twelve years old, there is the children's booklet “Sabi's Big Dream,” with which they can playfully follow the story of the book in the unique glacier world. This treasure hunt gives children the opportunity to play outdoors with natural elements.
