Details

Description

From the mountain station of the Scuol-Motta Naluns gondola, it goes left along the pink winter hiking signage. Shortly after, the ascent towards the mountain restaurant Chamanna Naluns begins. The path winds steadily upwards, along the slope and snowpark, where you can admire the occasional jump in the funpark. Shortly before Chamanna Naluns, a slope must be crossed before reaching the mountain restaurant with its sun terrace. The way back down to the mountain station is the same route.

Hidden Gem

At the restaurant «La Motta» right at the mountain station, you can enjoy fine specialties such as «Tatsch» (baked pancakes made from eggs).

Safety Note

The path is groomed after every snowfall. Please refer to the condition reports in the winter sports report. The route was rated under favorable weather conditions; current snow and weather conditions must be considered before starting.

Travel Information

From the north: via Landquart – Klosters by car shuttle through the Vereina tunnel (Selfranga - Sagliains) or over the Flüela Pass, along the Lower Engadin to Scuol

From the east: via Landeck / Austria towards St. Moritz on H27 to Scuol

From the south: via Reschen Pass (Nauders-Martina) towards St. Moritz on H27 to Scuol

Scuol is located directly on the Engadin road H27 (20 minutes car ride from Vereina south portal)
