Description
The route first leads into the Valle Federia before a gravel road zigzags up to the Rifugio Cassana. Shortly afterwards, the Chaschauna pass is reached. Sufficient time should be allowed here. The subsequent descent follows the newly developed, flowing single trail to Alp Chaschauna, where you can enjoy the best apple strudel. From here, the trail joins the alpine road that leads to S-chanf. At Vaüglia Suot, the trail crosses the bridge and enters the forest. Shortly afterwards, you reach S-chanf, the end point of stage 3.
Safety Note
On high sections, snow fields are possible well into the summer months.
The tour was evaluated in favorable weather conditions, the current weather conditions and weather forecasts must be observed before the start of the tour. This tour does not require any special riding safety or technical skills.

Be considerate when crossing and overtaking hikers. Most of the mountain bike routes in Graubünden are on single trails that are also signposted as hiking trails. Hikers always have right of way.

- With the Rhaetian Railway (from Chur, Landquart/Prättigau or from the Upper Engadine) hourly to Zernez
- Then by PostBus hourly from Zernez to Livigno

- From the north: From the Engadine via the Ofenpass road, the Munt-la-Schera tunnel to Livigno (all year round, toll, single lane)
